We’ve combined boho chic and 70s retro for this OOTD and it’s a wonderful example of weekend wear or, if you don’t have a uniform for work, something to keep you classy and casual.
Just because you want to keep warm this fall does not mean you can’t do it in style. It’s all about finding simple things and making them look new again. The fringed sweater is a great example of how something so ordinary can become extraordinary… and we actually found it at Saks Off 5th!
This fringe knot necklace is just enough detail to match the gold accessories and the white of the sweater. Pair it with simple gold rings and a leather watch to bring out all of the brown tones. A high neck chambray shirt is not only a nice neutral palette to showcase the necklace but serves to balance the pattern of the knit sweater as well.
Grab your favorite high-waisted bell bottom jeans and neutral heels to round it all out. Don’t forget the braided belt as a way to further accentuate your waistline. When it comes to a looser fringed sweater you run the risk of adding a heaviness to your top half so it’s extra important to wear fitted items underneath.
