Y’all didn’t think we were done with pumpkins yet did you? We wanted to give y’all options for ways to actually USE pumpkins. Here we set the table for a cozy little pre-costume party supper that would work just as well for Thanksgiving!
First is the centerpiece…
To make a vase out of a pumpkin you first need to carve out the insides. Be sure to cut the top of the pumpkin much wider than you would for a traditional carved pumpkin. You want to be sure to fit all those beautiful flowers in there! Once the pumpkin is carved out, put a piece of floral foam soaked in water in the middle of the pumpkin.
For our bouquet we chose a combination of marigolds and roses for a festive but still light and bright centerpiece
We used this to base our table around. We also scattered in the potpourri pumpkins (how to here) on the table. and we used the teeny tiny mini pumpkins to make candle holders.
On top of each place setting we used baby pumpkins for each persons place card.
On each individual place card we added copper leaves sticking out behind the card
