Fall Sangria Recipe

November 11, 2016

So we know sangria is usually associated with summer but there are so many yummy fall fruits that it seems a shame to wait 7 months to enjoy this favorite cocktail. Especially when its so easy to make. And it doubles as the perfect hostess gift for the holidays if you put it in a glass carafe with a personalized label and voila!

Now for the recipe…

1 cup blackberries

1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

2 cups black grapes

2 cups red wine (we used a cabernet sauvignon)

1 cup brandy

2 cups pomegranate juice

Fill a large pitcher with fruit, pomegranate juice, brandy, and red wine. Stir well and set in refrigerator to chill for an hour before serving
