#Real Talk:  The Adventures of Connie & June (at the Pumpkin Patch)

October 18, 2017

Happy Hump Day, everyone!  There are only 13 days left until Halloween and we are buzzing with excitement :)!!  We've been perusing all of the stores for the latest decorations and we absolutely had a field day at Target.  Not only do they have amazingly spooky things in their Halloween aisle, but there's also adorable stuff in the $1 bins perfect for your next party!  In fact, this is where we got our adorable tshirts!

They also sold pumpkins inside Target, but much like Christmas, Connie and I love to go to the local stores to go on "the hunt."  So we went to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Culver City to find the perfect one for our friday DIY!

Much like previous years, fall time in LA is absolutely scorching.  It's been a sweltering 96 degrees!  Honestly, there's nothing better than embracing the brisk fall time weather in our matching Haviana sandals LOL.

Mr. Bones is a rather large property so if you have kids make sure to leave plenty of time because there's so much to do.  There are games for the kids and even a stage for shows so there are tickets for those activities if you'd like to participate.  There are plenty of free things to do though and Connie and I made sure to take advantage of it (as 30+ year old, grown, childless women).  Parking is, however, $5 and is kind of hidden!

Here's the address:

10100 Jefferson Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232

There are so many photo opportunities so make sure your phone is fully charged or you actually bring your camera!  Connie's prepped and ready to go :)

There are pumpkins of all colors... the white ones are pretty magical.

And the pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes.  If you're anything like us, you'll have a really difficult time choosing!

There are, however, rules while you're on the grounds and they have so many cleverly painted signs to tell you the restrictions.  We believe this one means beware of floating pumpkins with wolverine claws.

All over the grounds you'll be surrounded by fun activities... like looking for land in a sea of hay....

... or resting in front of your wagon before a show begins!

Whatever it may be we can guarantee it'll be absolutely fun and spooktacular!!

What's your favorite pumpkin patch?  Let us know!

XOXO,

Soma & Ulte
