1. LEMON WATER
Connie and I both drink lemon water for our health. It's an amazing source of Vitamin C and potassium as well as giving the digestive system a good ol' cleanse. It's a natural immune booster! It's also great for soothing sore throats.
2. NATURAL BLEACH
Not only will it lighten your hair (please look at specific directions for this), but it can help with your white linens! I get a total headache from using harsh bleach so this is the perfect alternative. Add lemon juice in hot water and go ahead and soak it. Be sure that your fabric can withstand hot water though! I usually do about 10-20 minutes. Then you rinse and wash per usual.
3. FRESH BREATH
If you're feeling like you've got death breath, go ahead and gargle your mouth with lemon water. Make sure to rinse with regular water though because the lemon juice is pretty acidic. Don't wanna hurt your pearly whites!
4. CLEAN YOUR CUTTING BOARD
Lemons can absolutely help you cut down on grease and stinky things so it's perfect after I use the cutting board for my delicious but sometimes stinky Thai food. One of my favorite ways to use it is adding coarse salt to my cutting board and then rubbing a fresh lemon all over the board. Not only does it help you get rid of the oily grease, but it also makes your board smell delicious!
5. HAND DEODORIZER
Again with the stinky Thai food, but whenever I saw my mom cooking a meal with loads of garlic, she would always use a lemon to wash her hands afterwards. It's great for freshening up your hands and getting into the nails where the garlic smell can hide... peee yewww!
Hope this opens up your world to endless lemony possibililties :)
