Happy Monday, everyone! We are only 17 days away from the Summer Solstice and the heat is already turning up. Ow OW!! We have been daydreaming about our future travels and Connie and I are huge fans of the tropics and basically wherever we can spend the day basking in the hot sun next to a cooling body of water. The ultimate goal is for her to come with me to Thailand (my parent's motherland) and ride some elephants in the jungle. It will happen... just you wait!!!
Until then, we will just have to embody our favorite terrain by wearing it. So here are our top 5 favorite jungle print pieces (in no particular order):
1. The Jennifer Plunge Playsuit for $34.90
What I love about this look is that it combines 2 of the things I love wearing the most (rompers and evening wear) lol! It's a longsleeve dress with a front slit....
But upon further inspection and when the wind picks up, it's actually shorts! It's easy and I can do whatever I want without worrying about flashing anyone. HA!
Connie and I are huge fans of the plunging neckline and this is totally reminiscent of J. Lo circa 2000, but an updated version :)
And, of course, the jungle palm print is super fun, playful and very bold! I particularly love all of the different colored palms to give the whole outfit much more dimension.
2. Palm Leaf Print Pajama Set for $21
This one is pretty self explanatory. What better way to lounge around the house than in your own private paradise?
3. Sam Edelman Yaro Ankle Strap Sandal for $119.95
If you're not ready to wear an entire jungle print on your body, this is the perfect summer accessory for you! Easy fashion tip: Wear a neutral colored outfit ... I would say a sand or white dress and wear these shoes for a pop of color! Here's a sundress I'd wear with these heels: https://bit.ly/2Jow8vY
4. LA Hearts Swim Suit on sale now for $29.99
This is absolutely adorable and flattering on numerous body types! It has a blush tone background... and if you didn't notice last week, we love that color!
5. Kulani Kinis Headwrap for $12
Whether you wear it with a dress for your dinner in the tropics or you're keeping your hair our of your face on the beach, this is a simple way to fashionably wrangle your summertime locks!
