Happy happy Friday! So as promised here is an incredibly beautiful flower post! I came across THIS recipe for edible flower cookies while brainstorming what I originally wanted to post today but as you may remember from Wednesday's post I wasn't able to do that. But I still wanted to share this delicious looking recipe with y'all. Now to be fair I haven't tried them yet but they're so dang beautiful I can't wait to! There are a few changes I would make to the recipe however just to suit my personal way of eating and that is that I would replace the butter with Earth Balance butter to make them vegan. I use this butter all the time and I swear I really don't notice any difference. I would also replace the sugar with monkfruit which is so much better for you than real sugar. Ever since giving up sugar for Lent I really just don't want to go back to it. And what's great is that these cookies are already gluten free! However I'm sure they're totally delicious as is so if you don't have any dietary concerns you're already all set! If you make these please let us know how they turn out, and I'll let y'all know when I give them a try!
